A bit too over the top and special effects heavy for my taste. What I loved about the old ones was this feeling of plausibility. Very little in the way of effects aside from the occasional fireball. Made the film more frightening because it could actually have happened just like depicted.
Still, 9/10 gonna watch.

$150 million budget. Let's hope this makes money and the franchise regains momentum. something interesting, the actor of "Toecutter" from the first movie is in this as an important antagonist.
